Buen Camino. This painting is of the Camino destination the Cathedral Santiago de Compostela. After walking part of the Frances route through France and Spain and then the Portuguese route, I was very happy to arrive in Santiago do Compostela. The central square is ever flowing with pilgrims from around the world reaching their final destination. This painting is from the Camino de Santiago series which I painted after returning from the journey.

Materials used: oil paint on primed cotton panel. The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. It is framed in a gold leaf colored frame.
